Building capacity before crisis.

My work sits at the intersection of resilience, leadership, suicide prevention, and human capacity—helping people and organizations strengthen the resources they can draw on before, during, and after adversity.

Areas of Work

Military & First Responder Resilience

Building resilience, suicide-prevention, outreach, and support initiatives designed around the culture and realities of military members, veterans, first responders, and their families.

Translating operational experience, evidence, and resilience principles into practical training that strengthens decision-making, leadership, and organizational capacity.

Training & Leadership Development

Developing practical, capacity-based approaches to resilience centered on connection, purpose, agency, adaptive recovery, and future orientation—with the goal of strengthening resources before adversity becomes crisis.

Resilience Development & PCM-R

PCM-R

PROTECTIVE CAPACITY MODEL OF RESILIENCE

Resilience is more than enduring adversity. It is the capacity to remain connected to people, purpose, possibility, and a future worth living for.

PCM-R is an emerging resilience framework I am developing around five protective capacities: Connection, Purpose, Agency, Adaptive Recovery, and Future Orientation—supported by the broader concept of Resilience Reserve.

The premise is simple: build protective capacity before crisis demands it.

CONVERSATION & MEDIA

Clearing the Mind Field

Through Clearing the Mind Field, I explore trauma, moral injury, suicide, recovery, leadership, and resilience with people who have lived, studied, and worked in these spaces.

The podcast extends the same work beyond training rooms and organizations—creating space for deeper conversations about resilience, struggle, recovery, and what helps people move forward.
